Hoe-Down Featured on the "Wake Up with Whoopi" Show!
The Ozark Mountain Hoe-Down was featured on Whoopi Goldberg's radio talk show as part of a Valentine's Day special that highlighted an online business by entertainer Leslie Wright and Hoe-Down owner Randall George. SongwritersRecordingStudio.com, was selected by a New York radio talk show host as one of his recommended gifts for Valentine's Day 2008. Ozark Mountain Hoe-Down Gives Back with Their Annual Benefit Show
The Ozark Mountain Hoe-Down has always been one to step it up when it comes to helping out a good cause. Each year, the Hoe-Down donates 100% of the ticket sales from their last regular season show to a worthy cause. This year, the Hoe-Down is proud to sponsor the "Shop with a Cop" program for Carroll County children who wouldn't otherwise have a Christmas present this year. (...More)

War Eagle Movie Update!

“War Eagle, Arkansas” has been accepted as the premier film for the Northampton Independent Film Festival in Massachusetts. The festival dates are Nov 2-4 and Nov 9-10. War Eagle, Arkansas will be shown on Saturday, November 3 at the prominent Academy of Music Theatre. Now in its’ 13th year, the festival is committed to establishing a northeast center for the exploration, examination, and celebration of independent filmmaking. NIFF showcases the works of filmmakers whose films demonstrated quality, innovation, and independent in both form and content, http://www.niff.org/2007/.

The Ozark Mountain Hoe-Down Salutes the Veterans

The Ozark Mountain Hoe-Down in Eureka Springs begins its "Salute the Veterans" tribute this Memorial Day Weekend. Every night, the Hoe-Down honors veterans by ending the show with a powerful Patriotic segment. In a rush of overwhelming pride and emotion, the crowd stands, salutes Old Glory, and cheers as the Hoe-Down band performs their own versions of "God Bless the U.S.A" and "America, the Beautiful". Randall George, owner and performer at the Hoe-Down, says "This is probably our most powerful patriotic segment we've ever done here at the Hoe-Down, and the reaction from the crowd every night makes me want to give them even more."
